1、 一般情况下多用“基数词+year(s)+old”表示年龄，也可以直接用基数词表示年龄。

基数词-year-old是复合形容词结构，在句中做定语，其中year用单数形式

An eight-year-old girl 一个八岁的小女孩

How old are you? I am twelve years old. 你多大了？我12岁了。

2、 “在……岁”的表示法

表示一个人具体的岁数时，可用“at the age of +基数词”，“at age+基数词”或“at +基数词“

He started to learn the piano at the age of seven. 他七岁时开始学习弹钢琴。

He set up his own company at 30. 他三十岁左右创建了自己的公司。

“In one’s +整+基数词的复数形式”可表示“在某人几十多岁时”

He went to London in his twenties. 他二十多岁时去了伦敦。

She is in her fifties. 她五十多岁。（从50岁到59岁之间）
